Quick Snap support

For questions, bug reports, or suggestions, email [email protected]. Include your macOS version, Quick Snap version, monitor setup, and the steps that led to the problem. If you attach a screenshot, hide any private information first.

1. Download the signed and notarized ZIP from the Quick Snap page.
2. Open the ZIP and move Quick Snap to Applications.
3. Open it from Applications, then grant the permissions described below. macOS may ask you to confirm opening an app downloaded from the internet. If you used an earlier build, macOS may ask you to grant the permissions again.

1. Open Quick Snap → Settings → Access.
2. Use the buttons to open macOS System Settings and enable Quick Snap under Accessibility and Input Monitoring.
3. Restart Quick Snap after granting access.
4. Choose a layout for your display in Overview, then drag a window by its title bar and release it directly onto a zone tile.

Check that drag snapping is enabled and the app is not in your exclusions list. Drop onto the tile itself. For custom title bars, hold Option and drag from anywhere in the window. Some apps enforce a minimum window size, which may prevent an exact fit. Escape cancels snapping.

Open Settings → Keyboard. Check that the command is enabled and its shortcut does not conflict with another command, a zone, macOS, or another app. Zone shortcuts are configured in the zone editor. Quick Snap pauses its shortcuts while you record a new one.

Use Export in Settings → General → Backup to save layouts and settings to a file. On the other Mac, use Import. Keep a backup of the current setup before importing another one.

Quick Snap requires macOS 26 or later. It supports English, Russian, French, Spanish, Greek, and German. Change the language in Settings → General and restart the app. Permissions can be revoked in macOS System Settings → Privacy & Security.
